What do you want this year for you & your kids? Here’s the first step.

January is obviously a really good time to think about what you really want.  Because if you want to have more of what you want, you need to know what it is that you want.

But are you clear about what you want?

I like have one to two words to help guide me throughout the year.  They help me to focus on what I want & how I want to feel, which guides me in my choices and my interactions.

You may already do this for you or your work, but how about for you as a parent?  How about for your children?

Spending 5 - 10 minutes reflecting and getting clear is so powerful.

So my invitation to you is this: be clear in setting an intention for how you want to be as a parent.

Likewise for your children - what do you wish for them for the coming year?  And how do you need to be in order to be able to help them with that?

Take the time to stop & think.  Write it down - in a place where you'll see it!

I'd love to hear what you choose.  And I'd love to hear how it impacts your interactions with your children.

And be sure to check in with yourself (as I will be doing) at the end of this year to see how much you've been in alignment, and how the year has been for you.  I pretty much guarantee, you'll be closer to achieving that feeling / goal after you've set the intention, than if you never did.
