Parenting with PLAY!
FREE VIDEO SERIES with Helena Mooney
Are you wondering where your beautiful baby has gone?
Why your gorgeous toddler or pre-schooler is getting SO upset over teeny tiny things?
Why your calm, patient reasoning and explanations are being completely ignored?
How your child can go from being absolutely gorgeous one minute, to a raving, tantruming nightmare the next?
And are you worrying about how the teenage years will be if they're behaving like this now?!
Welcome to The TANTRUM Revolution!
This free video series will revolutionise how you view tantrums, how you feel about them, and how you respond to them. It will also give you practical strategies you can use to help reduce the frequency of them too.
It’s hard when you see your child being so upset and out of control.
It can be exhausting, embarrassing and infuriating. Especially when they push you away whilst you’re trying to comfort them, and they seem to get worse when you try to placate them.
You’ve probably spent ages reasoning and providing calm and gentle explanations about why then can or can’t do various things.
Because they seem to get worse when you talk to them, you give them some space to move through the tantrum whilst you’re nearby in another room.
Maybe you’ve tried to ignore them, tell them off, or put them in Time Out, hoping that they will realise that tantrums won’t result in them getting their own way all the time.
Maybe you give up & give in, frantically trying to fix the situation, or distract them onto something happier.
Maybe you've had a new baby and, although you understand why your older child is finding things hard, you're still getting annoyed when cry or tantrum over the tiniest of things.
Perhaps you try not to say "No" anymore because you can't face the inevitable meltdown, but your child still finds things to get upset about.
Whatever you’ve been doing, it can all feel very overwhelming and annoying!

About Helena Mooney
I'm a Parenting by Connection Instructor and an Aware Parenting Instructor. I'm also mum to 2 children so I really (really!) understand how challenging tantrums can be.
When my eldest was a baby, I thought that if I did everything 'right' then we'd have a super cruisy time and it would all be rainbows & butterflies.
Oh how wrong I was!
She was having tantrums before she turned 1 and I realised I had NO idea what to do!
Fortunately I discovered Aware Parenting and I learned that what I thought what I was doing was helpful, was actually making things worse.
I discovered a way to really help her with her emotions that helped her deal with life's inevitable frustrations and difficulties, and I found out just how powerful play can be as a parenting strategy
This approach has benefited our entire family and what I learned then continues to apply now that they're 11 & 5 years old.
I love supporting parents, just like you, who obviously want the best for their children AND would like an effective and loving way to help theim with tantrums.
So stop feeling like you’re treading on eggshells and discover some simple and highly effective strategies that WILL help.
My approach is practical, compassionate and fun.
